02

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EEA and UK where applicable) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and the organisation.

The Service is not available to persons who have been previously barred from using it or who reside in jurisdictions where it is prohibited by law.

03

Account registration

To access saved prompts and paid features, you must create an Account by providing your email address. We use passwordless authentication — a magic link is sent to your email each time you sign in.

We reserve the right to disable or delete any Account that violates these Terms or that has been inactive for an extended period, subject to reasonable notice where required by law.

04

Description of the Service

Humble-UI is a prompt engineering tool. It takes structured inputs from you (app idea, use case, colour palette, complexity level, and optional extra context) and generates detailed, production-grade text prompts designed to be pasted into AI code-generation tools such as Claude, GPT-4, Lovable, or Bolt to produce UI mockups.

Humble-UI does not generate UI mockups directly. It generates the prompt instructions. The quality and nature of the resulting mockup depends entirely on the third-party AI model you choose to use with the generated prompt.

The Service includes the following features depending on your plan:

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice to subscribers.

Cancellation

You may cancel your Monthly subscription at any time through Stripe's customer portal or by contacting us at support@humble-ui.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until that date. No refund is issued for the remaining days of the current period unless required by law.

Refunds

Monthly plan: We offer a 7-day refund on your first monthly charge if you are not satisfied with the Service. Subsequent monthly charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer law.

Lifetime plan: We offer a 14-day refund on the Lifetime plan if you are not satisfied with the Service. Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@humble-ui.co.uk.

Refunds are at our discretion where the relevant period has passed. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.

Failed payments & plan downgrade

If a recurring payment fails, Stripe will retry the charge over several days. If payment cannot be collected, your account will be downgraded to the free tier and you will lose access to paid features. We will notify you by email before downgrading your account.

Price changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. For Monthly subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days' written notice before a price increase takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price. Lifetime plan holders are not subject to price changes after their one-time purchase.

06

Free demo

Without an account or subscription, you may use the Service to generate one (1) prompt for free (the "Free Demo"). The Free Demo:

We reserve the right to modify or withdraw the Free Demo at any time without notice.

07

Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Service to generate prompts for legitimate UI design and development purposes.

You are solely responsible for the app ideas and content you submit to the Service and for what you do with the prompts the Service generates. The generated prompts are text instructions — their use is governed by the terms of whatever third-party AI tool you paste them into.

08

Prohibited conduct

You must not use the Service to:

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your Account without refund and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.

09

Intellectual property

Our intellectual property

The Service — including its design, code, interface, branding, colour palettes, prompt templates, and all associated content we create — is owned by or licensed to Humble-UI and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service or our intellectual property, other than the limited licence to use the Service as described herein.

Licence to use the Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own personal or commercial UI development purposes.

Ownership of generated prompts

The text prompts generated by the Service are produced by combining your inputs with our proprietary prompt templates. You retain ownership of the specific app idea and context you provide. The structural framework, palette definitions, and prompt architecture embedded in each generated prompt remain proprietary to Humble-UI.

You may freely use, copy, modify, and share the generated prompts for any purpose, including commercially, provided you do not represent the prompt templates themselves as your own original work or attempt to replicate the Service.

Feedback

If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use that feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.

10

User-generated content

You are solely responsible for the app ideas, descriptions, and other inputs you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited licence to process and store it solely for the purpose of operating the Service (e.g. generating your prompt, saving it to your account). We do not use your User Content to train AI models, share it with third parties for commercial purposes, or use it beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

We do not actively monitor User Content but reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

11

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Supabase (database & authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), PostHog (analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these providers where relevant.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or tools (such as Claude, GPT-4, Lovable, or Bolt) where you can use the generated prompts. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of those third-party services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

AI model outputs are beyond our control. The quality, accuracy, or suitability of the UI mockup produced when you paste a Humble-UI prompt into a third-party AI tool is determined entirely by that tool. We make no guarantees about third-party AI output.

12

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits warranties or rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection law, including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

13

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Humble-UI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

In no event shall our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed the greater of:

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.

14

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Humble-UI and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

15

Termination

Termination by you

You may close your Account at any time by emailing support@humble-ui.co.uk. If you have an active Monthly subscription, you should cancel it first through Stripe to avoid further charges. Closing your Account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your Account and access to the Service immediately, with or without notice, if we reasonably determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or your continued use poses a risk to the Service or other users.

We may also terminate the Service entirely upon 30 days' written notice to all active subscribers. In the event of such termination, we will pro-rata refund any unused portion of a prepaid Monthly subscription. Lifetime plan holders will receive a full refund or a pro-rated refund at our discretion.

Effect of termination

Upon termination, your licence to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your Account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including Sections 9, 12, 13, 14, and 16) will continue to apply.

16

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall first be referred to us by emailing support@humble-ui.co.uk so we can attempt to resolve it informally within 30 days.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings in local courts.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform to resolve disputes.

17

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For active subscribers, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email before material changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and, if applicable, cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
